Miriam made her debut with the Australian Opera Studio where she performed, among other roles, Dinah Trouble in Tahiti, Dulcinée Don Quichotte, and Niklausse/Muse Les Contes d’Hoffmann.
Since settling in the United Kingdom, Miriam has worked with a number of companies, including, The English Touring Opera, (Marcellina Marriage of Figaro, Mrs Fox The Fantastic Mr Fox), Grange Park Opera, (Filipyevna Eugene Onegin, Woodpecker/Frog The Cunning Little Vixen), Grange Festival Opera, (cover Dame Carruthers Yeoman of the Guard) Opera South East, (Fenena Nabucco), New Sussex Opera (Paola The Princess of Trebizonde), Opera a Home (Popova The Bear) and Martha in Susie Self’s opera, The Butt, (based on the Will Self novel of the same name), which had its world première in Vienna as part of the Musictheatertage festival. 

In concert, she has sung a number of Wagner roles, notably, Waltraute (Götterdämmerung), conducted by David Syrus, and Schwertleite (Die Walküre) for BBC Broadcast, conducted by Sir Andrew Davis. She has presented recitals in New Zealand, Australia, Cyprus and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and performed Meg Page (Falstaff) with the International Foundation for Arts and Culture in Japan. 

Miriam was recently soloist in Dovrak’s, Stabat Mater with the English Arts Chorale and reprised the role of Madame Popova in Walton’s The Bear for the Grimeborn Festival, to great acclaim.
Her upcoming engagements include singing alto soloist in Rossinis’ Petite Messe Solennelle with the Eye Bach Choir and covering Governess (Pique Dame), Spirit and Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas) for the Grange Festival Opera.
