Concert events and tickets for our 2019/2020 season are as follows:
Most of our concerts are held at Eye Parish Church, regarded as one of the grandest in Suffolk, not only on the outside, but also with regards to the treasures within. The rood screen that the choir performs in front of is something to behold, being described as “easily the best 20th Century work in Suffolk”, and which has been the subject of an extensive restoration process. The Choir rehearses in Eye Primary School on Friday evenings adjacent to the Church, and holds its post concert entertaining for the audience, Friends, members of the Choir and Orchestra in the School Hall. We also perform in the lofty Italianate and newly refurbished Eye Town Hall in our Christmas and Summer Concerts. There is plenty of parking for concerts as follows:
For concerts at the Town Hall, the Cross Street car park would be the nearest.
Tickets are presently sold at Eye Pharmacy, and also directly from our Ticket Manager, a choir member, from about a month before a concert. Tickets are normally available for purchase on the door too, although it is advisable to check in advance for availability. Our Ticket Manager can be emailed direct at Ticket Manager.
